These unique, eye-catching skins are very on-trend right now and also form part of our Eco range of leathers.
Veg-Tanned, using traditional tanning methods with 100% natural plant extracts and materials sourced from the native flora and fauna, the carbon footprint in the production of these leathers is kept to the bare minimum.
Using the same methods their ancestors have used for centuries, these skins are tanned using the Bagaruwa seeds from the Nilotica trees which grow on the land the goats are farmed on. The skins are then pit dyed and hand twisted to create this beautiful tie-dye effect, in multiple bright, vibrant shades.
This is not a uniform, pigmented leather, this is completely natural, aniline shrunken grain Goat leather with a huge amount of character that will polish and burnish up beautifully with age - developing an even richer patina. No two skins will ever be the same so each piece made from this leather will be truly bespoke.
Perfect for Bookbinding, Leather goods and Footwear.
These skins are left natural/unshaved at full substance.
